Small Steps Toward a More Sustainable Business

At Pakapalooza, we believe that small, everyday business decisions can make a positive difference. We work to reduce unnecessary waste, reuse materials whenever practical, limit paper consumption, and conserve energy throughout our daily operations.

We know there is always room to improve. The following are some of the steps we currently take to operate more responsibly.

Reusing Shipping Materials

Whenever possible, we reuse clean, sturdy shipping boxes and packaging materials rather than immediately discarding them. Packaging may be reused for outgoing shipments, product storage, or other business needs.

Because reused packaging may show minor signs of previous use, customers may occasionally receive an order in a box that does not look brand new. The products inside are still carefully packed and protected.

Reducing Paper Use

We use digital documents, transactions, and recordkeeping whenever possible. Reducing unnecessary printing helps conserve paper, ink, energy, and storage space while keeping our business organized.

Recycling When Reuse Is Not Possible

When boxes, paper, and other eligible materials can no longer be reused, we recycle them whenever local recycling options are available. This helps reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills.

Conserving Energy

We turn off or power down computers, lights, and other equipment when they are not needed. These simple practices help reduce unnecessary energy use and support more efficient business operations.

Working With Responsible Suppliers

We aim to work with suppliers and manufacturers that take product safety, responsible business practices, and applicable labor standards seriously. We also consider product quality, safety, and responsible business practices when evaluating suppliers for the Pakapalooza store.
